"Mountains Praise"

The inspiration was God's magnificent creative powers, seen in the beauty and magnificence of Mount Rainier. I wanted to portray the feeling I felt when I looked at the mountain. It was like the mountain was rising up to praise the Lord. The Bible describes it best:

You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you,

and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12
